ORIGAMI INSPIRED

Origami inspired art has been a longtime part of my work and inspiration.

Bringing the papercranes and other papersculptures into the urban surrounding is additionally bringing them into interaction with us and the environment. Like giving them a silent communication opportunity. Like bringing these creatures to live.

Bringing the original paperbased models up to new surfaces and materials gives a lot pleasure and opens more possibilities to play with the fine and fragile objects.

two golden cranes.

fold out of white 300g aquarell paper and finished with golden varnish.

Bringing these two together in various positions to each other  is obviousy pretending uns they are alive and we might listen to their silent talk.
